our background information
• St. Stephen Church started as a fellowship back on 10-3-23.
• The members used to meet every Monday evening at Lucy Wanambisi's house.
• The members read the Bible, praised, and prayed together.
• As time went on, the number continued to grow. This led to the idea of starting a church that could meet every Sunday.
• Another reason was to reach members who could not attend the fellowship during the week due to work commitments.
• As the fellowship continued to grow, the members agreed to begin a Sunday worship service within the diocese.
• This journey led us to Cascadia.
Seeking Assistance and Finding a Home
• The fellowship leaders approached Fr. Kae, who willingly assisted us. He consulted with Fr. Ryan and Bishop Kelvin.
• Father Ryan, after consultations with the Vestry, agreed to accommodate us.
• St. Stephen began worshipping at Holy Trinity on 7/2/24 from 1 pm.
• That practice has continued to this day.
